Center Ride Out, an AIDS/Life Cycle legacy event, is a 3-day cycling adventure (April 24-26, 2026) from Los Angeles to San Diego through Riverside County that benefits the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

From city streets to coastal views, winding roads to hill climbs—enjoy SoCal’s beauty with support at rest stops along the way.

Day 1: LA to Riverside

Complete a century ride (100 miles) from Los Angeles urban streets through Riverside County’s rolling hills to your queer summer camp: Basecamp at Lake Skinner in Temecula! Kick back with camp-style activities, meals, drag performances, and more each night.

Day 2: Choose Your Adventure

20, 50, or 100 miles—make it your adventure. Explore Riverside County, enjoy scenic views of SoCal’s wine country, connect with fellow riders, and spend the evening at Lake Skinner celebrating your achievement with new friends.

Day 3: Riverside to San Diego

Leave from Lake Skinner and ride along California’s iconic coastline to San Diego. Celebrate your journey at the Finish Line Festival, surrounded by friends and community, knowing every mile you rode brought us closer to the Center achieving its mission!

After each day’s ride, you’ll arrive at Camp—your home base for rest, connection, and outrageous fun! Picture dinners shared under the stars, community programming that brings people together, and that unmistakable queer summer camp energy.

We have flexible, self-guided digital plans for all skill levels available so you can train at your own pace, cross-training guidance, access to cycling routes in SoCal, and a community calendar to join team and social rides.

Ride Logistics

What can I expect for meals and accommodations?

Meals include vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Tent accommodations are provided at Basecamp. If you want to stay in a hotel, downtown is only 10 miles away and ride shareable!
